Capacity expansion in India
October 2011 — As part of a capacity expansion, the customer UFlex Ltd. has ordered four more engraving machines of the type GRAVOSTAR HS1315 for its plants in Noida and the new printing shop in Jammu (Northern India).
A decisive reason for this decision was the fact that VISION 3 engraving technology has been in successful operation at UFlex for several years now. The productivity and flexibility of the engraving machine GRAVOSTAR HS1315 are enabling the customer to adapt optimally to his ordering structure.
The Afflatus Gravures Pvt. Ltd. is also opening a production plant for gravure cylinders in the state of Gujarat, aimed at the steadily growing market for flexible packaging. The heart of the new production line will be formed by two GRAVOSTAR HS1315 and one latest-generation CFM P1610 PLUS. With this renewed investment Afflatus Gravures are showing their commitment to continuity, and simultaneously guaranteeing their customers a constant and location-independent cylinder quality.
