The opportunity to show gravure quality in packaging printing!
The 2011 ERA Packaging Gravure Award competition is the opportunity for all participants in the production chain to show gravure quality in packaging printing. The competition is open to both members and non-members of ERA (the European Rotogravure Association), from anywhere in the world.
Award categories are:
- flexible packaging, subdivided into substrate types (paper, film, foil, laminates)
- shrinkwrap sleeves
- labels
- cartonboard
- speciality, security and ‘intelligent’ printing, including printed electronics
- innovation prize for technical developments and new fields of application
Also there will be:
- a ‘newcomers’ prize for the best entry from a company which never entered before
- a prize for the best use of a PDF-based workflow
Entries must be printed in 2010 or 2011. The Awards will be presented at the autumn ERA Packaging Conference to be held on 17-18 November 2011 in Graz, Austria.
Entries may be made by any partner in the production chain (design, repro, printer, brand owner etc.).
The innovation prize is also open to suppliers of equipment, materials, software etc.
Closing date for entries: now extended to Friday 2 September 2011.
