Division to focus on innovative information solutions for company’s packaging clients.
Chicago, IL, USA and Dronfield, England — February 11, 2010 — Radius Solutions Ltd., the world’s largest Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software provider focused exclusively on the packaging and printing industry, announced that it has expanded and formalized a Business Intelligence Solutions Group to concentrate on the continued development of world class business intelligence solutions for its packaging clients.
The Business Intelligence Solutions unit will focus on providing value added solutions to existing Radius Solutions clients through a combination of products and services, including:
- Vision Business Intelligence – An analysis and visualization tool designed to leverage the data stored within the PECAS Vision application to provide an interactive environment for understanding the performance and trends related to Customer, Supplier, Operations, and Financial data.
- InterVision – A web based customer service portal designed to provide Radius Solutions clients with the ability to extend Vision data and capabilities to their customers.
- Best Practices Consulting – A set of service offerings designed to help Radius clients leverage the knowledge gained from the expertise that Radius developed implementing and supporting PECAS Vision.
Steve Rice has been appointed as the Director of Business Intelligence Solutions, in charge of the group. Mr. Rice is located in Radius Solutions’ global headquarters at 150 N. Michigan, in Chicago, IL, USA. He joined Radius Solutions in 2007 as part of the Professional Services group, working as a Project Manager and Implementation Consultant. Mr. Rice has more than 15 years experience in information systems and consulting, ranging from software analysis, design and development to business process consulting and implementation project management. During his time with Radius Solutions he worked with many of Radius Solutions marquee clients that are industry leaders in packaging. Prior to Radius Solutions Mr. Rice did consulting work including projects for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dana Corporation, Staples Inc., Anixter Inc., and Washington Mutual.
