ANNOUNCING THE NEW VISTA® II CELL SENSING SYSTEM

DAYTON, OH August 10, 2010 — The new VISTA II Cell Sensing system increases productivity on GRAVOSTAR HS and 827 engravers. Automatic, accurate, and reliable, VISTA II uses new technology to sense and correct problems for error-free engraving. The reliability of VISTA II allows the operator to move on to other tasks while VISTA II performs test cut, and then automatically advances to engrave the job.

VISTA II integrates multiple sensors, including a stylus position sensor, to automatically calculate cell shape and size and the stylus profile for each test cut. Improved, more sensitive edge detection method increases accuracy. Copper scratches and surface glare are ignored

The Tip Calibration procedure automatically places the stylus and shoe in the correct relative position after changing the stylus. A stylus change sensor allows for diamond life tracking with the built-in database. Stylus profiling automatically adjusts for stylus wear, chips and breaks. End-of-job test cuts check for broken stylus after engraving. Stylus error detection alerts the operator when the wrong stylus for the job is loaded. The cylinder birth certificate includes information about the job and the stylus, the Vista II test cut photographs, and even the stylus profile.

With VISTA II, consistently reliable cell setups provide trouble-free engraving. For more information, visitwww.daetwyler-rd.com.
