Change of leadership at Daetwyler -
Dr. Rolf Pfiffner takes charge
In his role as CEO, Dr. Rolf Pfiffner (40) has represented Daetwyler Graphics AG in Heliograph Holding GmbH since May 1, 2009. He also serves as a member of the Group’s board of management. Dr. Pfiffner, who has a doctorate in electrical
engineering, joined the Daetwyler Group on April 1, 2007. He successfully headed up the Finishing department before taking on responsibility for the entire Technology/Products division.
Having completed his Ph.D. as a research associate at the Laboratory of Combustion
Systems in the Mechanical Engineering faculty at ETH Zürich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), Dr. Pfiffner started his professional career as project manager at the engineering company Helbling Technik in Zürich. His biggest project during this time was the development of diverse maintenance and testing devices for the Transrapid high-speed train in Shanghai. He then moved to Bystronic Maschinen AG in Bützberg, the world market leader for glass processing machinery. Here, he established a new development department, which he was in charge of for a period of five years.
