Associations
    NPES Standards Work Room
Standards in the printing, publishing and converting industry provide uniform, defined procedures and tools which help users produce quality and safe products for their customers faster, more efficiently and more cost-effectively. This work is open to anyone having an interest. NPES serves as Secretariat to CGATS, B65 and the U.S. TAG to TC 130. By so doing, NPES provides administrative support, promotion of these activities, and other support services that better enable these committees to develop their standards.

Packaging & Label Gravure Association Global
PLGA Global was founded to advance the technology and utilization of gravure printing in such areas as folding cartons, flexible packaging and label printing.

    TAGA
Organized in 1948, TAGA is the only global professional technical association for the graphic arts industries. TAGA, which has over 900 individual members worldwide, also maintains the industry's best permanent set of technical papers and abstracts. TAGA serves the CTO, CIO, and R&D management personnel of printers, publishers, and premedia companies, as well as engineers and scientists employed by graphic arts systems and equipment providers, ink manufacturers, and paper manufacturers. TAGA focuses on graphic arts systems, software, and computer technology developments, as well as the more traditional areas of press, ink, and paper engineering applications. The association also provides guidance and support to its 15 active student chapters around the world, including chapters in Canada, France, Sweden, Taiwan, and Wales. TAGA's Annual Technical Conference provides students opportunities to participate in several competitions as well as an opportunity to meet prospective employers. In addition, through the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation, TAGA sponsors many scholarships and fellowships each year to deserving graphics communications students.
