Gravure industry professionals joined GravurExchange at Clemson University on July 18, 2007, and started work on the development of gravure specifications and tolerances. By developing global gravure printing specifications, the industry will be positioned to better meet the demands of today's print buyers:
- Quality
- Consistency
- Repeatability
On the agenda were:
- Overview of specifications vs. standards;
- Practical steps to simplification
- Production milestones and proposed timeline; and,
- Recruitment of section chairs.
