GravurExchange™Anti-Trust Statement

GravurExchange is a for-profit, fee-for-service organization, organized to advance and promote the gravure printing process. GravurExchange is not intended to, and may not, play any role in the competitive decisions of its contributors, consultants, or customers, or in any way restrict competition in any respect of the gravure industry.

GravurExchange through this statement of policy makes clear its unequivocal commitment to compliance with state and federal statutes that protect competition. These statutes include state and federal antitrust laws, such as the federal Sherman Act, which make certain types of anti-competitive behavior, such as price fixing, bid rigging, geographic market allocation, and illegal monopolization, felonies punishable by imprisonment and severe fines.

It is an individual responsibility of every GravurExchange GIST Initiative Contributor to be guided by GravurExchange’s policy of strict compliance with the antitrust laws in all GravurExchange GIST Initiative activities.  It shall be the special responsibility of any GravurExchange employee or GIST Initiative chairperson to assure that this policy is known and adhered to in the course of activities pursued under their leadership.

It is not GravurExchange’s role to act as an arbiter or judge of competitive conduct of industry members.  As such, this statement of ant-itrust policy is not a mechanism through which GravurExchange Contributors, Consultants, or Customers should charge another Contributor, Consultant, or Customer with alleged illegal action.  Courts of law are the proper places for such allegations.
